S45 Jeans Co. has been making boys' denim since 2017. This is the story of how we got here — and why we are not stopping.
Every brand starts with a reason. Ours was simple: boys needed better jeans, and we knew we could make them.
S45 Jeans Co. was founded with a clear purpose — to create jeans specifically designed for boys, with the right proportions, the right fabric, and the right fit for each age. We started with a small range of sizes and two basic fits.
The name S45 came from our original design code for the very first pair we produced. It stuck.
In our second year we focused on refining what we had. S45 operated with two fits — Relax and R.Elastic — keeping things tight and focused. We concentrated on getting the sizing, fabric, and construction exactly right before expanding further.
The response from parents confirmed what we believed — there was a real gap in the market for well-made, properly proportioned boys' denim.
Like every business, 2020 brought its challenges. But it also gave us time to step back and refine. We revisited our patterns, tightened our quality controls, and added the Comfort fit to our range — coming out the other side with sharper products and stronger processes.
Focused and disciplined, we kept building quietly — one design at a time.
By 2022 we had crossed 100 distinct designs — different washes, finishes, and detailing across our fit styles. Each design is developed with a specific age group and occasion in mind.
A quiet but meaningful landmark. One hundred designs meant one hundred different ways a boy could wear S45 — and we were only halfway through what we had planned.
Seven years in, we introduced the Baggy fit — and it immediately became one of our most popular styles. The wide-leg, relaxed silhouette resonated strongly, especially with older boys who wanted a more expressive, street-ready look.
2024 was proof that we still had new things to offer. The Baggy fit brought a new energy to the S45 range and opened us up to a whole new group of customers.
In 2026, S45 crossed two landmarks at once. We introduced the Bootcut fit — a fitted thigh with a gentle flare from the knee — completing our core range of six distinct fit styles. And in the same year, we crossed 200 distinct designs across the full range.
Two hundred designs means two hundred different expressions of what boys' denim can be. This is not a number we chased; it is a natural result of nine years of focused, disciplined work. We are proud of every single one — and we are not done yet.

We believe in letting the product do the talking. No gimmicks, no exaggerated claims — just well-made jeans that parents buy once and come back to buy again.
Every pair that leaves us has been made with the same attention to detail: proper stitching at stress points, fabric that holds its colour through repeated washes, and waistbands that are comfortable against a child's skin.
We take sizing seriously. A size 22 in S45 will always fit a 4–5 year old correctly. We do not cut corners on proportions because we know parents rely on consistency when they order.
That reliability is the most important product we make.
We never design for adults and scale down. Every cut, proportion, and detail is developed with a real boy's body and movement in mind. That is the difference that parents feel when they compare.
We do not inflate specifications. If a fabric will fade after six washes, we do not use it. Every design must meet our internal standards for durability, colour fastness, and stitching before it goes out under the S45 name.
A size 30 in S45 fits the same today as it did last year and the year before that. Parents should never have to guess. Consistency in sizing is a basic promise we take very seriously.
